Vijay Bashyal

Vijay Bashyal is a skilled graphic designer, motion graphics artist, and VFX specialist with over sixteen years of professional experience. Raised in a village in Palpa, he attended a government school and later studied Mass Communication in Tansen, where he first learned Photoshop. In 2008, Bashyal moved to Bombay, India, where he initially worked in accounts before transitioning into post-production. He honed his skills as a trainee at the global VFX company Prime Focus, working on wire removal for major films like Chandni Chowk to China. During his six years in India, he also worked on visual effects for television serials, spent time at Zoom TV and Sahara TV, and gained experience in product branding at a fashion studio.

After returning to Nepal, Bashyal established Tauwa Studio in Anamnagar, Kathmandu, which he has operated for the past decade. He has become a premier publicity designer in the Nepali film industry, creating posters for over 150 movies, including Boksi ko Ghar and Farki Farki, a film he also produced. Additionally, he has led the branding efforts for popular television reality shows such as Voice of Nepal, Roadies, and Poet Idol. Bashyal has also diversified his portfolio by investing in entrepreneurial ventures, including the agricultural show Raw and the hotel booking platform Yarsaroom, where he applies his branding expertise to help build local products.
