TENZIN GONSAR

Tenzin Gonsar is the CEO of Team Ventures, an alternative investment platform and venture capital firm based in Nepal. Serving as both the chief executive and a fund manager, he oversees the company's strategy, execution, and extensive business development efforts. Under his leadership, the local onshore fund has deployed upwards of five million dollars directly, building a diversified portfolio of over sixteen direct and indirect investments across sectors such as hydropower, solar energy, food technology, merchant banking, and real estate. Gonsar actively supports these portfolio companies by serving on their boards, providing governance oversight, and helping entrepreneurs navigate their operational challenges.

In addition to his executive duties, Gonsar is dedicated to strengthening the broader financial ecosystem in Nepal. He participated in founding the Nepal Private Equity Association, a collaborative organization designed to promote and standardize the country's private equity and venture capital industry. He also manages key institutional partnerships, including Team Ventures' significant stake in the Kriti Venture Fund to leverage specialized sector expertise. Gonsar believes in the power of collaboration, authentic networking, and maintaining objective perspectives to drive business success and mitigate risks in a developing economy.
