Shiva Dhakal’s journey in tourism began at age 17 with Rs. 600 initial salary at a local guest house, followed by years of working in trekking equipment rentals and as a trekking guide. Today, his sustainable tourism ecosystem impacts 600 to 700 lives monthly, empowering local communities and women entrepreneurs across Nepal.
