Maneet Dhungel

Maneet Dhungel is a policy and technology professional who spent more than twenty years living and working abroad before returning to Nepal. After completing undergraduate studies in India and the United States, he began his career in technology management. In the early 2000s, he worked for Sapient in Boston and was part of a small team sent to India to establish the company's offshoring operations. He later spent seven to eight years at Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on financial technologies and worked on a wide range of strategic initiatives.

Now based in Nepal, Dhungel focuses on the policy space and advises on government regulations, cross-border issues, and international best practices. He is a strong advocate for digital transformation, emphasizing the need for citizen-centric public services and foundational investments in connectivity and digital literacy. Through his work, he aims to help guide Nepal's transition toward a successful services and knowledge-based economy.
