Sakshyam Shrestha

Sakshyam Shrestha, who also goes by the artistic moniker OMG Spark, is a twenty-three-year-old Nepalese artist, rapper, and music producer who balances the worlds of art and entrepreneurship. Raised in Kathmandu, he operates as Sakshyam on the business side and Spark on the creative side, offering end-to-end multimedia services that span music production, mixing, mastering, video editing, and color grading. He actively manages his own studio and provides post-production services for various platforms, brands, and artists, while also maintaining a connection to his family business.

Dedicated to promoting Nepalese brilliance and heritage, Shrestha seeks to blend ancient cultural traditions with modern sounds, incorporating local folk instruments into his hip-hop music. His creative vision is highlighted in his upcoming album Valley Jams and his live ticketed show Once Upon a Time in Kathmandu, scheduled at Octave in Durbar Marg. Through his work, he advocates for Nepalese artists to view themselves as brands and use entrepreneurial strategies to achieve sustainability and global reach without losing their local identity.
