Throughout his career, he has been involved in producing various films, with the movie Dimag Kharab standing out as his personal favorite project. He is associated with Cinema Arts and is currently in the development phase of a new project, actively reviewing and searching for scripts. Through his experience, Kandel has developed a comprehensive understanding of the entire filmmaking process, from development and financing to marketing and distribution.

Kandel is known for taking a bold and historic stand alongside his team during the release of Dimag Kharab, where he successfully negotiated a consistent fifty-fifty revenue split and fairer showtimes for local films in theaters.
