Nirdesh Dwa

Nirdesh Dwa is the CEO and co-founder of Veda, an all-in-one cloud software platform designed to digitize and automate educational institutions. His journey into technology began in his childhood, where he developed an early passion for programming that eventually led him to study computer engineering. In late 2015, Nirdesh and his two co-founders started their venture in a small room, initially focusing on software services and other products before conducting six months of research to pivot into the education sector. Veda was launched to fill a gap in digital educational innovation, offering schools a comprehensive system that manages everything from attendance, billing, and learning management to bus tracking and communication.

Since its launch, Veda has grown significantly under Nirdesh's leadership, expanding its reach to nearly 700 schools and colleges across Nepal and initiating a pilot program in Bhutan. The platform now serves over 500,000 students, maintaining a 99 percent retention rate while the company's team has expanded to more than 50 employees. As Veda scaled, Nirdesh transitioned from his technical coding background to oversee business development, sales, and marketing. He remains dedicated to the evolving landscape of education and entrepreneurship, with the long-term vision of establishing Veda as a global brand that transforms school operations in developing countries.
