Niraj Khanal

Niraj Khanal is an entrepreneurship ecosystem enabler, startup mentor and investor, and the Founding Executive Chairperson of Antarprerana, an organisation focused on strengthening Nepal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. For nearly two decades, he has worked with Nepali entrepreneurs, supporting early-stage ventures through incubation, mentorship, business development and investment readiness. His work at Antarprerana centres on helping entrepreneurs move beyond ideas and build businesses that can find their market, grow sustainably and become investment-ready.

His work also extends to building a stronger culture around entrepreneurship and investment in Nepal. Through initiatives such as “I Am An Investor,” Antarprerana has been working to make angel investing more accessible by helping aspiring investors understand due diligence, risk, returns, deal-making and the responsibilities that come after writing a cheque. For Niraj, capital is only one part of the equation. Stronger founders, better business fundamentals, informed investors and a supportive ecosystem are equally important to building Nepal’s next generation of businesses.
