Niraj Karmacharya

Niraj Karmacharya is an investor, entrepreneur, and the President of the Kathmandu chapter of the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum. His journey began in 2004 when he moved to the United States for his undergraduate studies, eventually earning graduate degrees in finance and financial management. During his eight years in the United States, he balanced his education by working over a dozen different jobs before securing a position in the mortgage department at Wells Fargo. There, he excelled as a top performer in wholesale mortgage, earning national recognition. Driven by a passion to build his own ventures, he returned to Nepal, gained experience at a local merchant bank, and eventually established his own investment firm, Jaguar Capital.

Through Jaguar Capital, Niraj manages a diverse portfolio that includes stock market investments, financial advisory, and strategic ventures. He has invested in the digital financial media platform Nepali Paisa and the financial technology company Source Code, where he serves at the board level. He also leads Baby Tree, an e-commerce platform and physical retail brand providing one-stop solutions for baby and maternity products, which has expanded to include Kids Tree for older children. Through his leadership at the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum and his personal business endeavors, Niraj is dedicated to supporting young startups and helping transition traditional business models into the digital age.
