Keshav Nepal

Keshav Nepal, CEO of Nepal's largest ISP, Worldlink, rose to his position through an unconventional path. After dropping out of his bachelor's degree around age 20-21, he spent six years driving his own bus on the Bhairahawa to Kathmandu route, having previously worked in journalism and taught English. This period of bus driving taught him valuable lessons, including the importance of perseverance, which he continues to apply in his professional life.

His educational journey is notably unique; he successfully pursued a Master's degree at INSEAD, a globally renowned management institution, without holding a prior Bachelor's degree. This required him to win a landmark lawsuit against the Nepali government to obtain the necessary No Objection Letter. Despite his current success, Mr. Nepal is preparing to transition out of his CEO role at Worldlink in the coming months, driven by a philosophy of continuous personal growth, a desire for new challenges, and a belief that leadership rotation benefits organizations. He emphasizes honesty, a non-greedy approach, and the acceptance of life's inherent ambiguities.
