Dinesh Lamsal

Dinesh Lamsal is the co-founder and CEO of Bitsbid, a technology company he established in November 2015 alongside two of his friends who were also software developers. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a small three-person startup into a team of around forty professionals specializing in full-stack technology and blockchain. In its early days, Bitsbid built its technical reputation by developing open-source frameworks, including a Node-based content management system called Node Bits and a blockchain project named Block Action. Today, the company continues to expand its portfolio by developing products across the fintech, blockchain, and education sectors, including an upcoming e-learning platform.

Lamsal is a strong advocate for the transformative power of blockchain, which he views as a trust-enabling technology that is even bigger than the internet. He believes that the entrepreneurial journey is defined by imagination and mindset, advocating for calculated risks and viewing early unpaid initiatives as valuable long-term investments. Lamsal is also passionate about fostering greater collaboration within Nepal's IT sector, branding the country as a global technology hub, and encouraging young professionals to maximize their present strengths to drive meaningful innovation.
