Bikram Dahal

Bikram Dahal is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Docsumo, a document artificial intelligence software company. He completed his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering at Thapathali before starting his career at Kemu, where he initially worked in logistics before transitioning into business intelligence. He later moved to Myanmar to work as a junior data scientist for Awa Jobs. After returning to Nepal, Bikram co-founded Arts Analytics, a data science consulting service, which he and his co-founder eventually shut down to transition fully into building a product-based company.

As the CTO of Docsumo, Bikram taught himself backend programming to build the platform's infrastructure and currently oversees engineering teams in both Nepal and India. Docsumo uses computer vision and machine learning to automate data extraction from documents like invoices and financial statements for international enterprise clients, including Hitachi and Arbor.com. The startup went through the Barclays Techstars accelerator program, raised seed funding, and achieved a valuation of twenty-one million dollars. Although he has an approved O-1 visa for the United States, Bikram chooses to live and work in Nepal, prioritizing his personal happiness and the growth of local tech talent.
