Ananta Gautam

Ananta Gautam is an ACCA certified professional and entrepreneur who spent eight years living and working in the United Kingdom. After completing his science studies at the plus two level in Nepal, he moved to the UK, where he initially studied hospitality management before shifting his focus to accounting. He completed his ACCA qualification in two and a half years while gaining practical industry experience. During his time in the UK, Gautam worked as a stock controller for a wholesale business and later transitioned into audit. He eventually became a group finance manager in the hospitality industry, where he managed a team of thirteen colleagues before deciding to return to Nepal in 2016. He is also currently pursuing an MBA.

Following his return to Nepal, Gautam immediately began managing an ACCA program at a college, a role he held for two years to gain local experience. He later co-founded Seed Academy, an ACCA institution, fulfilling his long-held goal of establishing an accounting college in his home country. Gautam is also the co-founder of Candyland, a retail candy brand launched in partnership with a fellow UK returnee. Originally starting at Labim Mall, Candyland has expanded to multiple locations, including Rising Mall, City Centre, KL Tower, and Pokhara, and employs over a dozen people. Looking to the future, Gautam maintains a strong interest in exploring agricultural business opportunities in Nepal.
