Aakriti Ghimire
Aakriti Ghimire is a former Sokiya Sachiv, or personal secretary, who has gained extensive experience working within Nepal’s political landscape. She served as a personal secretary to an MP and later as a personal under-secretary to a minister, including a tenure with Sumana Shrestha. Her responsibilities in these roles encompassed diverse tasks such as policy-related work, legal research and writing, addressing general public concerns, and managing administrative duties, often extending beyond a full-time commitment.
Through her initiative, the Instagram account "How Do They Speak Us," Ms. Ghimire actively works to make politics and governance accessible and understandable for Gen Z. She has spearheaded innovative projects, including the development of a career guidance portal and an AI chatbot named "Bureaucracy," aimed at simplifying complex government processes and fostering public participation in law-making. Ms. Ghimire is driven by a profound love for people, advocating for critical thinking, diverse team collaboration, and unwavering integrity within public service.
