Ujaya Shakya

Ujaya Shakya is the Founder and Managing Director of Outreach, an agency group he has built over a career spanning more than twenty-two years in the advertising profession. Beginning his journey in 2000 at the global agency JWT, Shakya eventually established Outreach, growing the company from a team of five people to an organization of over 125 professionals. Under his leadership, the agency has expanded its capabilities by launching specialized verticals in activation and digital marketing to meet evolving client needs. Recently, his team represented Nepal on a global stage, winning eleven gold awards and one silver award at the Flame Awards in Delhi.

Rather than focusing on direct creative execution, Shakya specializes in planning, strategy, and the business side of advertising. He champions the philosophy of business-driven creative ideas, emphasizing that marketing campaigns must deliver tangible business results and align with client objectives. Shakya views the agency-client dynamic as a collaborative partnership rooted in mutual trust and respect.
