Rajesh Thapa

Rajesh Thapa is an experienced architect with nearly 45 years in the profession, currently serving as the President of the 14th Executive Committee of the Society of Nepalese Architects. Although his childhood, schooling, and college education took place abroad, he returned to Nepal and dedicated his career to exploring and developing projects outside of Kathmandu to deepen his connection with his home country. Alongside his active architectural practice, Thapa has worked as an educator teaching architecture and engineering students, and has served in leadership and event-organizing roles for organizations like the Society of Consulting Architecture Engineering Firms.

Embracing the role of a social architect, Thapa is deeply committed to voluntary service and community engagement, particularly through his involvement with the Rotary organization. He is passionate about mentoring the younger generation of Nepalese, encouraging them to pursue creative fantasies and build on their talents. Guided by his strong faith and love for Nepal, he maintains a dedicated daily routine that includes visiting temples in Patan, researching and sharing daily morning messages about the country, and fostering meaningful connections with people of all ages.
