Aayush Shrestha

Aayush Shrestha is a tech entrepreneur and programmer who works with 42 Tech Private Limited on Kila, a Canada-based startup that provides management software for non-profit organizations. His passion for computer programming began in the ninth grade when he taught himself QBasic and built student management software. In 2016, Shrestha was selected by the US State Department for the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program focusing on digital governance. This exchange program led to a partnership with his current CEO and the creation of a five-person development team in Nepal, which now serves a client base in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

In addition to his career in technology, Shrestha is a stand-up comedian and creative content creator who produces the YouTube show Baaki Samachar. He rejects the idea of a single career identity, choosing instead to balance programming with comedy, and has future aspirations in filmmaking, direction, and theater acting. His versatile approach to life is heavily inspired by the book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which motivated him to get a tattoo of the phrase Don't Panic on his hand. Shrestha also aims to help other IT professionals by developing public speaking and communication programs to help them better pitch their ideas.
